Well, friends, finally I made it ! I have on a bigger tank (from a Suzuki GR 650 -82), and an aftermarket mini- speedo with tripmeter (KILOMETERS!)that I got from a friend who had it on his H-D Sportster. The wire for the speedo had to be changed, but a wire for Yamaha DT fits nicely. Had to put a little clip of metal sheet at the beginning of the Yamaha-wire to make it spin. Since I also put on a longer fork,(from FS-Chopper, Germany) I bought a cable-extension from Highway Hawk. Bought a small cromed nice "pillbox" from Louis that contained the indication lamps. Now, after some sweating and swearing and testing it all works just perfect, except for my homemade seat that needs a few hammerblows to be more comfy...
Pity I don't have a homesite so you can admire it, haha. Also painted the engine black... exchanged flashers and tail-light.. put on hard boxes.. forged a new model of luggage rack..put on a windshield.. Only one thing left to do ; Max, what model of Honda front mudguard was it that you put on that looked so good ?
